To prepare the ladyfingers for use in Tiramisu, follow these steps: 1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C). 2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. 3. Arrange the ladyfingers on the baking sheet, ensuring they do not overlap. 4. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly golden. 5. Allow the ladyfingers to cool completely before using them in your Tiramisu recipe. 6. Once cooled, dip each ladyfinger into a mixture of coffee and rum (or a non-alcoholic alternative) for a few seconds, ensuring they are well-coated but not overly soggy. 7. Arrange the ladyfingers in a single layer in your serving dish, breaking them if necessary to fit. 8. Repeat the process with additional layers of ladyfingers and your chosen filling (such as mascarpone cheese and sugar mixture) until you have created your desired number of layers. 9. Chill the Tiramisu in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, before serving.
